A native of Santa Barbara, Erika C. Martín del Campo, brings years of experience in Workers' Compensation with her to our firm. She joined Edwin K. Stone, Attorney at Law, APLC in 2018 and is bilingual in Spanish. Erika manages our Santa Barbara office.
Erika graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Dual Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish. Upon graduation, Erika took on the role of Community Education Coordinator at the Santa Barbara non-profit organization, Standing Together Against Sexual Assault, where she previously interned throughout high school and college. During her time, the agency was awarded the 2013 Youth Agency of the Year as a result of her work.
Erika graduated from the Santa Barbara College of Law (SBCOL) with a Juris Doctorate in 2017. While at SBCOL, Erika founded the Latino Law Students Association, was the Clerk of Roles for the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, a member of the William L. Gordon Inn of Court, and the Treasurer for the Student Bar Association.
Throughout law school, Erika worked in workers' compensation as a caseworker, paralegal, and then lastly as a Hearing Representative, before passing the California Bar Exam. She was admitted to practice in California in 2018.
Erika was the recipient of the Santa Barbara Women Lawyers' Judge William McLafferty Scholarship and is a member of both Sigma Delta Mu and Sigma Delta Pi honor societies.
Currently, Erika serves as the Secretary of Central Coast Chapter of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association. She also serves on the Executive Board of the Latina Professional Alliance and Chairs the Communications Committee. As a past Spirit of Fiesta, Erika participates in the yearly Old Spanish Days' celebration. In her spare time, she is also the Director of the award winning ME Sabor Dance Studio with her husband, Marco, and teaches local Salsa & Bachata dance classes.
