Edwin K. Stone has been dedicated to helping injured workers for more than 16 years out of his 25 year legal career. After graduating UCLA in 1988, he went to work for the insurance companies as a claims adjuster. He spent the next 11 years learning everything there is to know about how they operate. In 1999 he became an attorney for the insurance companies, and spent the next 9 years learning everything there is to know about how their attorneys operate. Since 2009, he has been applying that knowledge to helping injured workers get through a system that is more concerned about pocketing money for themselves rather than spending it on the injured worker.
Certified by the State Bar as a Specialist in California Workers’ Compensation law, and with over 35 years of experience in handling workers' compensation claims, he uses his extensive knowledge, expertise and experience to get his clients the all the benefits they are due under the law, and to help them navigate their way through a system that is geared against helping them.
He served as President of the Central Coast Chapter of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association from 2016 to 2020, and has been featured as a speaker at several of their conventions. He has also lectured on California Workers' Compensation law to California Qualified Medical Evaluators, doctors and attorneys.
